TFR Printing, small printing company, has picked Marion Ohio as its new location. The decision to move the company from Dayton to Marion was made by its owners Dale Hadad and his son Philip. Dale Hadad was the Chief financial officer for Macola Software in Marion for 15 years when it was acquired by a Netherlands-based company and moved to Columbus in 2004.
He and his son then started TFR printing in Dayton. Nearly a decade later, the company has begun outgrowing its facilities in southwest Ohio.
The company does not compete with other printers in the region. It has ongoing contracts with McGraw Hill and other large companies, which brings "new revenue into the city." Marion has welcomed the business with open arms, receiving visits from both Marion County Commissioner Dan Russell and Mayor Scott Schertzer.
