Sunday night the Marion Police Department arrested three Chicago men for drug trafficking at a local motel.
Officers from the MariOn Police department arrived at the Stay Inn Motel at 725 Main Street in Marion just after midnight this morning.
Upon the officers arrival then could see in the window of the suspected room and saw two subjects packaging heroin on the table in the room. With the drugs being in plain view the officers forced themselves into the room.
Over one hundred bindles of suspected heroin and a small amount of cash were confiscated from this raid with three suspects arrested.
Arrested were Jeremy Coleman, Lewis Partee also know as Lewis Tate, and Alvin Waddy all from Chicago.
