The Ohio Department of Education released their 2011-12 school district report cards yesterday, we've got the results of each district in Marion County.
Pleasant Local Schools scored the highest grade of "Excellent". Meanwhile Elgin Local, Ridgedale Local, and River Valley schools scored "Effective", which is essentially a "B". Finally, Marion City Schools were graded "Continuous Improvement", which equates to a "C".
Marion City Schools' grade is still under review pending a state investigation into alleged "data scrubbing" that went on there.
