The trial of accused murderer Raymond Bertuzzi is set for its third day starting at 9:00 A.M. today.
Bertuzzi, 29, is facing two counts of aggravated murder on top of other charges relating to the slaying of 30-year-old Amy Aldrich in Marion last February.
In yesterdays session, jurors heard testimony from Aldrich's cousin Sarah Smith--who was the first to find her after the shooting.
Smith reportedly described finding Aldrich and then calling 911. The tape recording of that call was played in court by Marion County Prosecutor Brent Yager.
Also testifying yesterday was Marion Police Detective Brian Liston, one of the officers that responded to the crime scene.
The trial is happening at the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center's courtroom due to an elevator malfunction at the county courthouse.
