Marion City Police have arrested one local man after they say he broke into The Warehouse restaurant early this morning.

According to officials, Joshua Partee, 22, was cuffed after several policemen spotted him inside the restaurant located at 320 W. Center St., the incident took place just after midnight on Wednesday.

One officer, Ptl. Robb Reed suffered minor injuries after having to tackle Partee as he refused commands to stop upon exiting the building. Reed was taken to Marion General Hospital.

According to reports, Partee is a registered sex offender who caught charges of indecent exposure in 2010 while in the state of Colorado. He was taken to the Multi-County jail on charges of breaking and entering plus a felony count of obstructing official business.
