Marion Police have arrested a local man after finding thousands of pictures of nude minors at his home this week.

Officers acted on a search warrant Wednesday morning at the home of 53-year old Richard Hale at 2552 Capaldi Dr., Marion. According to police, the warrant came after a 16-year old victim came forward.

Many of the pictures are believed to be of Marion-area girls and some date back to the 1980s. According to investigators, some of the photos depict Hale involved in sex acts with the juveniles.

The Marion County Prosecutor's Office have charged Hale with two counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, a felony, but more charges are expected. Hale is currently being held at Multi-County Correctional Facility, the investigation is still under way.
